Oh My Edward! Breaking Dawn is Coming So Soon!!!

So I know that I haven't posted on here in a week, but I have been so busy since I got back. Plus this week is the week when Breaking Dawn comes out and my life has been pretty much consumed by that.

I will try to post tonight and talk about PR and put a few pics up.

Can you believe Breaking Dawn comes out this week??? I'm so excited, it's ridiculous. I'm going to a midnight release party at Barnes&Noble with 2 of my friends. And we're volunteering to help too! So you can def. expect posts about that night and about what I thought about Breaking Dawn. Speaking of which, Stephenie Meyer gave us a great spoiler: Edward and Bella DO get married and it's not a dream. And it happens early on in the book!!!! This is soooooooo exciting and amazing. I knew they would actually get married!!

Oh and then there's all the amazingness that was Comic Con. First of all, Robert was utterly adorable during the entire panel. I could barely handle it. Also, I am so excited about his songs in the film. I know the lullaby scene is going to be utterly incredible.

Well, I'm at work so I shall try to write again tonight.

Checking In.

So I've been back since Saturday (I was finally in my bed at 1:30 in the morning), but I've been so busy that I haven't really had time to get on much. I haven't even loaded the pictures from my camera yet, but I will soon. I promise. Maybe tonight.

I'm at work right now though, which has been hectic because we have this huge conference coming up and I'm helping get a lot of the stuff ready.

I will try and get online tonight and tell you all about Puerto Rico and of course Twilight news and some other random things.

...You Have Stolen My Heart

This is most likely my last blog until I get back from Puerto Rico.

Sooo Twilight Tuesday=AMAZING!!!!! They talked about the Cullen Crest and showed a scene from the movie that was utterly amazing! Robert Pattinson is amazing as Edward...I have no doubt about that. The fact that this movie does not come out until December is killing me...I'll be done the first semester of sophomore year by the time it comes out. That's just ridiculous! Oh and the title of my post is totally referencing the fact that Edward Cullen owns my heart. And the song lyric is from Dashboard Confessional.

So, tomorrow is my flight and I'm already anxious. I hate flying, you'd think I'd get use to it after doing it every Summer since I was like 7, but no. I still hate it. A lot. And get this, the stupid shuttle is picking us up at 3:30...in the MORNING! I'm basically not going to get any sleep. And I still have a few last minute things to get together. So I shall update when I get back and maybe even post some pics. See you all in a month!

Look Up, Rain is Falling, Looks Like Love

So my sister finally finished reading Twilight on Wednesday. And, as was to be expected, she completely loved it. She sent me a txt saying that she finished it and had read the first chapter of New Moon that's at the end of the book. She then proceeded to send me another txt that said, "I will need you to type the 2nd and 3rd chapters and email them to me so that I can read them during lunch tomorrow...thanks." I quickly replied telling her that she had clearly lost her mind. So I decided that since her birthday is next month (she'll be 29...almost 30. Jesus how time flies!) that I would buy her the series and she could have her present early. I'm doing the same for my other sister as well because she also wants to read the books. My friend Laura is still reading New Moon, but I think she was almost done so I should be able to talk to her about it later today :-)

I realized today that I leave for Puerto Rico in 4 days and I have yet to get anything ready. This is a major problem since I'll be gone for a MONTH, which requires a bit of preperation and packing. I definitely will need to get on that starting today after work.
Speaking of Puerto Rico, and I know I mentioned this in my last post, but I truly don't know what I'm going to with no internet access. My e-mail box is going to overflow and I read fanfics, which means I'll be behind like 30 chapters b/c they tend to update daily or every other day. And I know that sounds pathetic, but still...I love those fanfics.

So You Think You Can Dance was on lasy night (it was the elimination episode) and I was soo angry because I missed their opening dance! I'm going to have to look it up on youtube especially because Wade Robson choreographed it and he is simply amazing. I didn't think that I would like this season too much because none of the contestants were really jumping out at me, but after the first dance night I am quite excited again.

It's finally Friday. So that means today is my last day at work until I get back from PR. I don't plan on coming in Monday or Tuesday since I need to get all my things together. I will write more later...

Oh and the title of this post is from the song 'Look Up' by Stars.

What a Beautiful Mess This Is...Like Picking Up Trash In Dresses

Again, I am bored at work and have decided to write another post. So, while I was searching through my Twilight sites, I saw that Twilightguy.com referenced another blog about a middle school teacher who has all her students reading Twilight, so I went to go take a look. The site is amazing and you pretty much fall in love with her students and their enthusiasm for the books. I put the blog on my blog list, which is on the left side of my blog. On that site, they had a post where they talked about a 'soundtrack' for Twilight. This was not the first time I'd seen something like this since many of the twilight facebook groups I'm in talk about songs for Twilight also. I won't bore you all with all the songs I think are perfect for Twilight. But I will tell you that the first song that plays on my music playlist when you enter my blog, Out of Your League by Stephen Speaks, is a song that I love for several reasons. One of those reasons though, is that it reminds me of Edward. I feel that the song suits him perfectly, especially when I think about how he must have been feeling when he realized that he truly was falling for Bella. I won't post all the lyrics (even though I think the whole song is perfect for him), but I will post the chorus:

Cause I love her with all that I am,
And my voice shakes along with my hands.
And it's frightening to be swimming in this strange sea,
But I'd rather be here than on land.
Cause she's all that I see,
And she's all that I need
And I'm out of my league once again.

Plus the fact that the songs only instrument is a piano (which as we all know, Edward plays proficiently) makes the song even more perfect for him.

Twilight Tuesday talked about Stephenie Meyer's book tour and the fact that she is touring with Blue October. I was kind of hoping for more news on the movie, but I'll take what I can get.

I finally got to talk to my sister about Twilight (she's still not done reading...but she only had about 2 chapter left) and I can now say that she is officially a Twilighter. She loves Edward, though not quite as much as me. I think once she's read all the books, she'll love them as much as Harry Potter. My other sister wants to read the books as well, so soon we'll all be into the series like we are with Harry Potter. We had this tradition every time a HP movie came out to go see it the day it came out together. Maybe we can start a Twilight Tradition this year with the movie! Though, I will want to see the movie with my friends as well, so we'll have to allow more people into the tradition, but I'm sure they won't mind...

In other random news, only 6 more days till I'm in Puerto Rico for a month!!!! I can't wait. The only sucky part is that our condo doesn't have internet over there, so I don't know how often I'll be online and will be able to post. I will post whenever I get the chance though. I'm going to die not being able to access all my Twilight sites, and e-mail, and youtube on a daily basis for that month...

Oh and the title of this post is courtesy of yet another wonderful Jason Mraz song entitled "A Beautiful Mess." I think you should all go take a listen :-)

"I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted..."

So it's been a little while since I last posted. This weekend was a little crazy. I finally got my room to stop looking like the apocalypse and resemble a place where a person could actually live. And I cleaned my bathroom, which was quite a feat. And finally, my friend Laura stayed over Saturday night and was there most of Sunday. She had finished Twilight, so we had ourselves a great Twilight discussion. But I couldn't go into too much depth because she still hasn't read New Moon or Eclipse. So she took New Moon, but I don't know how far along she is on it.

In other random news, I seem to have developed a bit of an obsession with a certain Jason Mraz song called I'm Yours. And I completely love it. The lyrics are amazing and the beat and melody are extremely relaxing. I recommend everyone to listen to it. The title of my post is a lyric from the song :-)

There aren't really any new updates in the Twilight department lately. But today is Twilight Tuesday on MTV so maybe they will have something to soothe my Twilight addiction. I think I'm going to go check. I shall write more later perhaps.

...Oh How I Love Edward Anthony Masen Cullen and How I Hate Complications...

So Twilightlexicon interviewed Stephenie Meyer and she was gracious enough to give them a new quote from Midnight Sun, as in one that is not in the first chapter that she has on her official website. So here it is:

quote from Midnight Sun:

I reached for the closest thing, and held her eyes while I bit off a small bite of whatever it was. Without looking, I couldn't tell. It was as slimy and chunky and repulsive as any other human food. I chewed swiftly and swallowed, trying to keep the grimace off my face. The gob of food moved slowly and uncomfortably down my throat. I sighed as I thought of how I would have to choke it back up later. Disgusting.

Bella's expression was shocked. Impressed.

I wanted to roll my eyes. Of course we would have perfected such deceptions.

GAHHHHHH!!! This just made me sooo excited! I cannot wait for Midnight Sun to get published! To have a book entirely in Edward's perspective makes me sickeningly happy! He is my favorite character after all...

Any-who, so my friend Laura came over my house yesterday and we drove over to Target for her to buy TWILIGHT. And I bought The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which I've been dying to read except I forgot the book on my desk so now I'm at work and bored as ever. Anyway, after we got back from Target, we played a Grey's Anatomy trivia game that I have, but I kept winning so I told her we would play until she won. She finally did after the third game. I'm a bit of a Grey's Anatomy connoisseur...
Anyway, I was really tired last night since I've been going to bed late and getting up early all week and I feel asleep around midnight. When I woke up this morning I had a txt from Laura (sent at 12:45) that said: "I'm not even on page 100 yet, and Edward is making me drool." I died laughing...is there a person that he doesn't have that effect on?!

In other news, I found out today that where I work is moving offices in early 2009, which is a major problem. See, I work here during the week when I am done with class and it's convenient because it's pretty close UMD. The new offices, however, are not. They're going to be in freakin' LARGO which is not close to College Park. So me getting there is a HUGE problem. Unless they provide a shuttle of some sort. But I don't even know if i would want that because everyone is saying that the area it's in is really bad. Apparently, the crime rate is ridiculously high. And seeing as how I'm a tiny (4'11) little Puerto Rican girl, I really don't think I should put myself in a position where someone can try and hurt me. Even though, I do own pepper spray because I have a over protective father and I can be pretty damn feisty, I still don't think I would even be able to react fast enough to use it...So yea, that would be a major problem for me come second semester of this year. I can't not have a job since I'm probably going to have to pay for a major part of my housing junior year...UGH I hate complications...
